- 2 acorn squash, halved and seeded
- pepper and salt to taste
- 1/4 cup butter, diced
- 6 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions
1 h 10 m- Preheat oven to 350 levels F (175 levels C).
- Place squash inside a shallow baking pan, cut side lower.
- Bake in preheated oven for half an hour, or until tender.
- Turn cut side up season with pepper and salt, us dot with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Bake for 25 minutes more.
